Is your life in a mess right now? You want to do something in your situation, but you don’t know what to do? You want direction from God but you’re struggling to hear Him?

Oftentimes, we know a lot of people acknowledging God can solve their problems. This is very true, however, the dilemma enters the scene when you can’t hear or feel God at all. Therefore you make your own choices apart from God’s guidance and end up failing. What people do not know is that it’s very simple and easy to hear the voice of God.

Mark Virkler of Communion With God Ministries shares 4 keys to hearing God’s voice.

Mark was a Christian for 10 years, but he couldn’t hear the voice of God at all. He was alarmed because he had read God’s Word in John 10:27 says, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

“I’m a sheep. I’ve asked You into my heart, but there is no voice in my head,” he told God.

“I asked people what His sounded like. Well they said, ‘well you know that you know’ and I said ‘no, I don’t know that I know’. No one could simply say to me God’s voice sounds like spontaneous thoughts that light upon your mind while your eyes are fixed on Jesus,” Mark said.

He was very eager to know about what the voice of God sounded like, and so he took a year to study and learn to hear God’s voice. Mark sought God with all his heart so he could hear Him clearly and help others do so.Because His Word is alive and active, Mark trusted that he should and WOULD hear the voice of God. At the end of the year, he received a revelation from God.

To know deeper, listen further to God’s revelation through Mark in the video below. It will greatly help you and will bring you closer to God.

According to Mark, the 4 keys to hearing God’s voice is:

  1. Stillness – to quiet yourself down.
  2. Vision – to keep watch to see what God will speak.
  3. Spontaneity – to recognize God’s voice as spontaneous thoughts.
  4. Journaling – to inscribe the vision and write it down on your journal.
