A 4-year-old boy from Laguna, Philippines skillfully plays his homemade drumset set to the tune of ‘Nothing Is Impossible.’
Hosea Moneda was born and raised in a Christian family to artist parents. According to his mom, Ann Baldemor Moneda, Hosea started to play the drums when he was just two. It was also that time that both his parents saw the potential in him. Since then, he has been practicing and slowly becoming more comfortable with the instrument.
His father Almer Moneda even created a home-made drum set for Hosea. The set was created by connecting toy drums, a small cymbal and tambourine, and bottle caps to pieces of woods. The homemade drum set resembles a real one and it also sounds similar. The drum set is a good starter instrument to cultivate Hosea’s skills. He even has a pair of drumsticks that fit perfectly into his little hands.
Praise and worship
Hosea also learned music by observing the praise and worship team in their church. While he practices drums, his dad accompanies him on the guitar along with his mom as the vocalist. They worship the Lord together as a family band.
In the video uploaded by Hosea’s mother, Ann, they sing Planetshakers’ ‘Nothing Is Impossible’. Hosea was able to skillfully play the drums for the whole song. The video quickly became viral and has over 2.1 million views and over 115,000 shares!
Are we witnessing the start of a new musical superstar? You decide!
“Praise God with drum and dance! Praise God with strings and pipe! Praise God with loud cymbals! Praise God with clashing cymbals! Let every living thing praise the Lord! (Psalm 150:4-6)
