“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.” – Psalms 1:1-2
There is much to be considered in this day and age, and as we witness the events taking place in the world’s news.
As a nation, there is a call for unity. But why are we witnessing so much division? I, for one, have contemplated, how do we change this, and what can we do to bring this nation back together?
It is true – Satan will do whatever he can to make us miss the target, taking our home, our spouse, our children, our health, our reputation, our finances, our hope, and our future.
Stand Your Ground!
Are we living in the separation of this world, and truly living on God’s promises? Or are we apologizing, as a nation, for being a nation? And are we stretching to the very limit, our own moral code?
Have we forgotten the sagacity of our founding fathers and what made this nation great to begin with? Will we be able to maintain the unity of ethnicity and freedoms that we’ve all grown accustomed to?
God calls us to live a holy life. This does not mean a life of separation from the people of the world; but, it does mean being “salt and light” in it (Matthew 5:13-16).
We must stand our ground!
Law and Order
The Bible says that he who dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. But there are many who have become lawless and unruly, attempting to take God out of our constitution, the very basis of where this country began.
Isn’t it time to consider that we may be heading in the wrong direction? And if we are going in the wrong direction, shouldn’t we consider what more “we” should do?
We must have law and order!
The standard of law and order is eroding away at the seams in various regions of our nation. People are crying out for justice, while others push back, asking for decimation of law.
The first example of “law and order” for each one of us is in our home. Without proper leadership, we are left with a sense of abandonment. If there isn’t a family routine, or any type of proper family structure, it can leave us feeling lost, alone, and sadly, more than insecure.
A Warning for Us All
It was recent that I received a message, or warning of sorts, referencing a “changing of the guards.” It alarmed me initially because it did not come to me as a casual prompting.
As a nation, I am concerned that we’re moving in a very dangerous direction. We’re striving to micromanage our own lives to the degree that we are slowly taking God out of them. Choices in the home are affecting our children. Where we’re falling short (as parents), this vicious cycle is also being repeated by our children.
We must, first and foremost, bring order back into our homes: husbands loving your wives, as Christ loves the church; mothers utilizing this time to teach your children, nurturing them through this crisis.
There’s no time to waste!
There has to be order, because “without order, children, there will be chaos.” We do have a lot to learn in this world, and I think that it’s clear, there’s more than just a changing of the guards trying to take place, the whole world is experiencing an upheaval.
We grow where we know we are loved; so, let us love one another as we grow together, as a healthy nation, and in leading by example for the world!
