As believers, we all desire to live a supernatural life. In my prior article, “God’s Supernatural Nature”, we marveled at the majesty of God as both our creator and father. I believe that positioning our hearts to look at God as the Alpha and Omega makes room in our spirits, minds, and bodies to fall in deeper love with Jesus.
The Key to Falling in Love with God
The only response to a true acknowledgment of who God is is worship. Not only is it what we were made for, but it is also our connecting point to the Father. In worship, we connect our spirit to His, deepening our love for who God is. We are also brought to acknowledge just how small, yet treasured we are. It is a puzzling and enthralling experience that tethers our hearts in a deeper union.
Jesus Made a Way for a Supernatural Life
God’s love for us is eternal. It transcends our natural life here on earth. But Jesus’s coming to walk among men and women gave us access to God in complete restoration. What sin meant to separate, God restored through His son.

“For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:3-4)
Not only this, but Jesus modeled what a life in the Spirit should look like for us:
“go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons.” (Matthew 10:6-8)
I encourage you to walk out a life in the spirit this week as you ponder on the wonder of God’s love for you.
