Some days are harder than others. Maybe you are tired, because of not sleeping well the night before. Sometimes it is due to a headache or illness and your body is so busy fighting it, that it seems you have nothing else left to give. More times, there are things that have nothing to do with our physical bodies that affect how our day will be. Those things are sometimes harder to get past.
What are those things?
Depression is one.
This is something that will entirely control you. Often it even keeps you all alone and away from the very people that will help you get past it.
Loneliness is another.
This is one that is a result of not having someone. Or losing someone. Or being with someone and merely coexisting. Again, being with people is the one thing that will help this too.
I could go on and on about all the different things, factors, aliments, etc that put us into the place of having a hard day. But, the fact of the matter is, we still have a choice, We have a choice to make the day what we want it to be. Even in the midst of dodging all of these external things that try to prevent us from living an abundant life, we have a choice to see the ONE thing that we should be focusing on… Jesus and His promise to us…
“I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for—will freely go in and out, and find pasture. A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” JOHN 10:9-10 (TPT)
Our abundant life
