Agnostic British teenagers are turning to Jesus after hearing the Gospel on the streets in England. Though skeptical about the existence of God they are shifting their position. Philip Blair is an American evangelist who recently shared his encounter with two teen boys in Bristol.
Does anyone want to pray to God to save them?
The director of Torch of Christ Ministries, Phillip released the testimony of Joe and Matthias on Instagram and his video below shares how they accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior.
“Does anyone here want to pray for God to save them?” Philip asked during a street outreach. His attention soon turned to Joe and Matthias and after a discussion, they decided to give their lives to Jesus.
Philip gently asked the two if they’d like to enter into a relationship with God. Mathias replied with interest. “I wanna see [what it’s all about].” While Joe responded firmly saying “I’ll do it, I’m open.”
Prayer of salvation
Before Phillip led the two to pray the salvation prayer he explained that Christianity is not found in a single prayer, but rather it is a decision to give your heart fully to God. Then the three of them joined hands and the two teenagers prayed this prayer;
“Today I choose to believe in You, please forgive me for my sins. I am created in Your image. Give me a new heart, put Your Spirit inside of me. Jesus, I confess You as Lord. Help me to live for You every day. Help me to read my Bible and to pray. I give you my heart, my soul, my mind and my strength. In Jesus name, Amen.”
Jesus is still saving lives today of old and young alike. Share this to encourage others.
