In Zechariah 4, it is written that we should now not despise the day of small beginnings. Jodie Hughes shares why we shouldn’t despise small beginnings, instead, we celebrate them.
Small beginnings
God spoke to us those words for us not to disregard the beginnings of breakthroughs and miracles. But in small beginning, we can see God moving and that’s when the opportunity arises to celebrate the start of breakthrough.
“God’s speaking to us to not disregard the small beginnings of a breakthrough in our life,” Jodie said. “And the small beginnings of miracles and the small beginnings of things turning around.”

God will complete His works
She then referenced Philippians 1:6 to emphasizing that God will complete the works that He has started.
“The places in your life where it’s just been a small beginning, the places where you’ve just begun to see breakthrough, the places where it’s not a complete work yet but something has begun, let’s not despise those small beginnings. Because God’s the God who completes what He starts,” she added.
No matter what God is doing right now in your life, be confident that He will finish it. You will see breakthroughs and miracles in your situations!
“I speak hope over you today that the God who completes the story in your life is moving right now to bring your promises into the fullness of completion in the mighty name of Jesus.”
