At All Times
“I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)
Bless the Lord at all times. No matter the season, no matter the circumstance, no matter what you are facing, choose to bless the Lord at all times. When you choose to bless the Lord, you’re making an active choice to Praise Him for who He is and not what He’s done. Even the angels in Heaven surround Him daily and declare that He is Holy. They are in a constant state of worship and adoration. How much more are we, as His Children to worship and adore Him? We are joint heirs with Christ, who died for our sins and now God, the Father, sees us as clean through the Blood of His Son Jesus Christ. It is through this Blood Covenant where we are reconciled back to God through the obedience of Christ. Bless the Lord at every stage, in every season, and throughout every circumstance in life. Choose to bless the Lord in the valley, and on top of every mountain praise Him. Fix your mind, heart, and mouth to bless the Lord all the days of your life.
My Soul Shall Boast
“My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.” (Psalm 34:2)
Choose to allow every part of yourself to boast in the Lord’s goodness. Choose to declare God’s grace and mercy. Choose to allow His Word to rule and to reign over you. Choose not to allow your emotions to have rule over you. You are God’s true treasure and delight. He delights in you and as His Son, He boasts in you. You are His. You are fearfully and wonderfully created, crafted and made by God’s Hand. You are His handiwork. A peculiar treasure. You are a new creation in Him. Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. So let your emotions submit to the Lord. Let your life submit and surrender to the One who created you. Let every part of your heart, worship the Lord, your God. If you will choose to serve and worship Him, He will lead your path. It’s your decision to either boast in the Lord or to complain about your situation. When you choose to boast in the Lord, He will make your enemies to be at peace. When you boast in the Lord, He will cause the storms of life to cease. When you boast in the Lord, every demonic force must back up. When you boast in the Lord, no weapon, plan, snare, or trap the tries to enemy set will succeed. Choose to boast in the Lord over complaining about your enemies.
Magnify The Lord Over Your Problems
“O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.” (Psalm 34:3)
To magnify, enlarge and exalt God over your problems means not to idolize anything or anyone else over God. In Exodus , it states, “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is jealous, is a jealous God.” (Exodus 34:14) When you magnify any problem, person or situation above God, you begin to idolize the situation, person or circumstance. When you’re idolizing other people and things, your focus shifts from worshipping God to worshiping the thing. When you dethrone God off of the throne of your heart, you’ll set yourself up for failure. The altars that you raise, in worship other idols, will block your destiny. When you worship people and the things of this world, you misdirect your worship from serving the true and living God. When you weigh the opinions of others, over what God’s Word has declared about you, you’re worshipping and longing for the approval of man rather than receiving the approval of God. When you receive God’s approval you do not need man to opine. With God, all things are possible. Trust Him. Trust His Word and walk out on faith. Choose to boast in the Lord and not in yourself. “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, simply pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose from the grave, just for me. I repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus Christ’s Blood washes me and cleanses me from all unrighteousness. In Christ, I am a new creature. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name, Amen.
