You are completely declared righteous in the presence of God.
Lamb
Evangelist Phil Pringle shares a powerful message about our salvation in Jesus Christ. As it was written in the Old Testament, whenever people sin, they have to bring the finest lamb they have. The firstborn lamb had no spots and had no flaw in it. They had to bring it to the priest as a living sacrifice for the atonement of their sins.
Just as the priest just looks at the lamb that you’re with and not how heavy your sins are, God is also only looking at the Lamb, Jesus Christ, and not at your sins. God gave His Son for us as a living sacrifice for the atonement of our sins.
“It’s on the basis of Jesus in your life that you’ve gained complete ablution of all your sins,” Phil said. “Not one of them remains, not one. You are completely declared righteous in the presence of God. The whole new testament is in Christ, if you’re in Him, you’re justified.”
Completely declared righteous
No matter how sinful you are and no matter who you are, if you are in Jesus Christ, you are saved. In the presence of God, you are declared righteous because of the blood of the Lamb. You are made worthy because of Christ that is in you.
Do not look at who you are, but just focus your eyes on who you are. You are a child of God and you are called into His Kingdom the moment you accepted Jesus Christ in your life.
