A 9-year-old boy’s cross necklace miraculously saved him from a stray bullet during this year’s New Year’s Eve.
Stray Bullet
The 9-year-old Tiziano was at their home with his family in Las Talitas, Argentina to celebrate New Year’s Eve when the shocking incident happened. Together with his cousins, they were playing outside when he suddenly felt severe pain in his chest.
Tiziano’s parents Alejandra and David found their young child dropped at his feet with a wound on his chest. They immediately rushed the young boy to Hospital del Nino Jesus in Tucuman. It turned out that Tiziano was struck by a stray bullet on his chest, however, to everyone’s surprise, he only sustained superficial wounds.
Cross Necklace
Upon examining the area where the incident took place, they found the bullet that hit Tiziano on the ground. The bullet created a hole in the center of the cross necklace. According to his aunt, there was never a hole on that cross before.
The cross that Tiziano received from his father as a gift saved his life from that stray bullet. Las Talitas police department is calling the incident the New Year’s miracle. Without the necklace on his neck, the bullet would have struck the young boy’s heart. His family believes that it was God’s protection that saved their son.
New Year’s Miracle
The police are still investing in the source of the bullet and are looking for the person who fired it. To this day, they still have not arrested the person in charge. But what is important to Tiziano’s family is that their young boy gets to still see another day thanks to his cross necklace.
