Submit To His Word
“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” Joshua 1:8 NLT
Choose to study and obey the Word of God both day and night. Make it a daily habit to study, meditate, and dwell upon His Word in every season of your life. No matter the situation that you’re facing, choose to apply His Word to every area of your life.
James 1:5 declares, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Take a moment to pray and simply ask God for wisdom, understanding, and insight. Ask God to open your understanding to His Word. Ask God to understand His Way of doing things. When you ask God for understanding, He’ll open up your heart and lead you through His Way of doing things.
Deuteronomy 28:1 NLT declares, “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world.” A submitted heart gets His results. A surrendered heart chooses to obey God. As you obey God, He will open up doors and platforms that you couldn’t have opened yourself. Choose to diligently obey and submit to His Word. Choose to surrender your heart and hands to God and He will give you good success — His Success.
Let God Lead You
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 KJV
Let God’s Word shape and guide every aspect of your life. It’s your choice. You’re the one who makes the decision to follow Christ. When you submit your heart to Christ, He will make you new. If you’re in a wilderness season, or if you’re in a dry season, choose to let God lead you through the valley. Let God lead your heart through every dry season — He is the well that never runs dry.
God will do a new thing in the middle of the valley. God will do a new thing in the middle of the desert. Let God lead you and He’ll do something that eyes have not seen, nor ears haven’t heard. Let God create a new path — His path. Proverbs 8:12 KJV declares, “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” Wisdom belongs to God. Creativity comes from God. Innovation comes from God. If you’re experiencing lack of ingenuity — simply ask God for wisdom.
If you’re lacking creativity on your job, in your business, or in ministry — simply ask God for wisdom. God releases witty ideas to those that ask. God releases wisdom to those who ask. Surrender to Christ and allow Him to lead your ask. Submit to God and let God break your wilderness cycle.
Diligence Breaks Cycles
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” Proverbs 10:4 KJV
The hand of the diligent, or the “God-given” process of the diligent makes one successful. Surrender your work to God. Let God guide your hands. Let God guide your process. If you’re experiencing slack, or lack in any area of your life choose to deploy God’s Word. Choose to be diligent in every area of your life. Choose to consistently focus on your weak areas and apply God-given diligence to every area of your life.
Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV declares, “But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.” God is the one who gives you power to get wealth. God is the one who gives you power to be successful in every area of your life. Surrender to Him and submit to His Way of doing things.
Promotion, enlargement, and expansion comes from Him. “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.” Psalms 75:6 KJV. Focus on His Word and let God do a new thing through you. “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:” Daniel 2:21 KJV
