Not all girls want to be pursued. Not for her beauty, not for her talents, not for her successes, not for her personality, and not for what she can offer.
Not until He says so.
A lot of young people are so engrossed with the thought of being in a relationship. They often feel the need to be involved with someone even though it may be clear that they’re not ready for it. That is one of the reasons why many relationships fail.
Isn’t it ironic that many people find security in dating, but that insecurities are birthed from failed relationships? This isn’t true all of the time, but certainly often.
Being in a relationship will not complete you. You are already complete if you have Jesus, so don’t look for another person to complete you because you will only be disappointed.
Don’t pressure yourself to date. Do not hurry, but grow yourself first. There are a lot of important things in life besides dating. Pursue your dreams first before you build another dream with someone else. Use this season to grow in the Lord and perceive this season as a training ground, to become the person God created you to be. Enjoy this season with God.
So boys, don’t pursue girls.
Not until you’re ready.
