God created you to be special and He has awesome plans for you! Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Wommack shares, “There are some of you who are experiencing terrible things and you think man, ‘how did my life get here?’ This was not God’s plans for you, God’s thoughts for you are plans of good and not of evil. He had a plan for your life, but God does not control your life…”
Wommack describes many people who think that they are going through life with no purpose or direction because they think what happens in life directs what they do. We as Christians can choose to do things our way instead of God’s, we have free will.
We as Christians have to realize that we have the ability to choose for ourselves and are not controlled like a puppet. Without this, we limit God and what God wants to do through us and through our decisions. We have the choice to surrender our will and our plans for God’s and this is what truly releases God. It’s a great balance of letting go of control as well as receiving the vision and direction of the Lord. This enables us to take take the best steps forward.

He said he had about 80 percent of a congregation stand up doubting what God has called them to do in life. He continues to explain how these are not new believers, but mature believers who are just going through life. Wommack explains the key is knowing your destination.
If you don’t have any type of vision of where you want to go or what God has shown you, you will take any old road, he says. God has a purpose for your life and God has a plan for your life, Wommack continues to share. He says “It is up to you to allow God’s will to come to pass in your life. If you pursue the things of God, then God’s Will will come to pass in your life.” Wow, what a revelation to all of us believers today! Andrew Wommack Ministries – Don’t Live A Mediocre Life
Wommack explains in his message that the world not only accepts mediocrity but they promote it. He emphasizes how we limit God if we do not pursue his plans and the things of Him. We won’t reach our full potential. He shares about an encounter he had with the Lord where he read from Psalm 78:40-41, “How oft did they provoke Him in the wilderness, and grieve Him in the desert! Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.”
This shows how we can limit God and because of His love, he does not force His way upon us. Andrew Wommack says, “God is a gentleman, He will draw you, He will love you, He beseeches you, He woes you, He calls you…but He is not going to force you to do anything.
