“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson calls people to “turn to Jesus” in a write-up posted on Fox News website.

Phil Robertson is an author and a professional hunter who founded the Duck Commander Company. He also starred in the hit television series “Duck Dynasty” where he and his family showed how they live according to their Christian beliefs.

“We didn’t cuss or drink, we prayed on television,” Phil wrote in a write-up posted in Fox News. “We spoke about God openly. And we loved each other and lived out God’s intention for a family as best we could.”

The father of five children has strong Christian beliefs and has also been open about his sinful past. Recently, in a article on Fox News website, he shared how God brought him out of the darknes.

“But if you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know I didn’t always practice these godly principles,” he wrote. “In fact, for the first two decades of my life, I was pretty unruly. If you wanted to drag a skeleton out of my closet from all those years ago, it wouldn’t take you long to find one. Truth be told, I’ve dragged out plenty of my own skeletons over the years in an effort, to be honest about who I was before the Almighty got hold of me.”

He then continued to explain how his sins impacted his family and how his wife prayed for him. Eventually, he turned to Christ and walked away from all the destructive living.

“This is how God works. He takes our wickedness and turns it into something beautiful. For me that “something beautiful” is my precious daughter,” he added.

“Turn to Christ”

He wrapped up his post by sharing the Gospel and calling people to turn to Christ.

“Here is my message to you and those you love,” Phil wrote. “There is a Way. Jesus says that He alone is the Way. He is the truth and the life. None of us can get to the Father except through Him. So give up, lay down your arms, repent and turn to the only one who can save you. Turn to Jesus, who is the fullness of Deity in bodily form, God in flesh. It’s never too late.”
