Brittni De La Mora turned away from the porn industry after finding God. Today, she is now a Christian author and speaker who inspires people to live a life of purity. In February 2016, she married a pastor. Together, they advance the Kingdom of God preaching about purity to everyone.
On a recent episode of ‘Let’s Talk Purity,” a show that Brittni and her husband Richard host, she recalls her experience with a Bible years ago before she became a Christian.

“Sometimes, hardships that come into our lives … are inevitable,” she said. “There was a time in my life … I actually was dating a guy who was murdered. He was stabbed in front of me.”
Traumatic Event
Brittni went on to share about the traumatic event. While authorities searched for the person responsible, she went into hiding for a few days. That was when she found a Bible in the hotel room where she is hiding.
“I saw a Bible, I wasn’t a Christian. I was still in the porn industry during this time,” she explained. “And I remember taking that Bible … I just started reading all the scriptures that pertained to everything that I was going through, and I would write out the scriptures as they spoke to me, and I was so liberated during that time.”
Holy Bible
That encounter with the Holy Bible made a huge impact on her life. The fear from trauma started to fade and she began to feel hope.
“Something about the Word of God gave me so much hope, so much encouragement during one of the hardest seasons that I’ve ever been through in life,” she said.
In that season of her life, God showed her who He really is, the God of hope.
“There are so many things in this life right now that can affect the purity of our hearts,” Richard said. “We understand that there’s purpose in every season. When we understand that there’s purpose in every season, then we know there’s stuff God is trying to show us and teach us during every season.”
