Husband had four affairs while wife tried to commit suicide. But their severely broken marriage was healed after God intervenes, eventually surrendering their hearts to God.
Broken Marriage
Brian and Elisha met as teenagers where they fell in love fast. They dated about six months and got married nine months later. Then they spent getting to know each other in the first couple of years. But eventually, their marriage started spiraling downward when their time spent with each other lessened. Arguing then became the couple’s connection.

Soon after, Brian and Elisha’s arguments escalated, often leading to Brian leaving home for weeks or months. By this time, Brian prided himself on being a successful contractor. But he resorted to vices and started having an affair to fill the void in his heart.
Husband’s Affairs
Several years later, Elisha discovered Brian’s secret affair. But she forgave him and agreed to work on their relationship. However, when Brian didn’t stop cheating, Elisha decided to give up and filed for divorce.
Elisha felt hopeless and rejected and tried to commit suicide. But God’s intervention saved her.
“At my lowest moment was when God stepped in and saved my life,” she recalled.
God then asked Elisha to give her husband one more chance.
Surrendering To God
Meanwhile, Brian tried to commit suicide as well, realizing his failure as a husband and a dad. He then heard God telling him that it’s his last chance to change. Broken and desperate, he surrendered his heart to God.
Brian moved back into their home and worked on their marriage, keeping God first in their relationship. As a result, his relationship with God was strengthened.
While Elisha and Brian continued to keep God first in their lives, their severely broken marriage was slowly but surely being restored. God healed their union and blessed their future.
Indeed, there is nothing too broken for God to make whole. He is the God of Reconciliation!
