In our lives with Jesus, there comes a point where we need to start spending more time hearing the Holy Spirit. It’s best to do both. Position yourself to sense Holy Spirit within you. He is the one who can bring revelation and perception to what you know and have read and, more importantly, will lead you into the experience and reality of those things. God is yearning that all of his children might learn to recognize His voice. It’s not just for those with title, status, training, influence, anointing and leadership qualities – it is for everyone! Are you listening?
“Leaders please stop creating and facilitating people becoming dependent on you and encourage and empower them to go to God for themselves.”
Focus On Your Faith
It’s distracting trying to work out if other people are “hearing” from God. It’s not about them it’s about you!
Are you facilitating God communicating with you? Do you trust yourself to ‘listen’? Do you believe that you are led by Holy Spirit (who resides in your spirit)? Being guided by God requires listening to Holy Spirit within you. Don’t just fall back on your head knowledge; pay attention, with your spiritual senses, to what the Lord is revealing and doing inside you.
Verses About Holy Spirit
“My own sheep will hear my voice and I know each one, and they will follow me.” (John 10: 27)
“The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of Holy Spirit.” (Romans 8: 14)
“Each believer is given continuous revelation by Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12: 7)
“As you yield freely and fully to the dynamic life and power of Holy Spirit, you will abandon the cravings of your self-life.” (Galatians 5: 16)
Final Words: Are You Listening?
Simply speak what Holy Spirit gives you at that very moment. Realize that it’s not you speaking but Holy Spirit repeatedly speaking through you. Now, united with Jesus, we have equal and direct access in the realm of the Holy Spirit to come to the Father. God unveils profound realities to us by the Spirit. Yes, He has revealed to us His innermost heart and deepest mysteries through Holy Spirit who constantly explores all things.
