Today’s Verse:
“And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew 22:39
Today’s Message:
Many of us don’t like the image we see in the mirror. Our insecurities have drowned the truth that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” And most often, we allow the opinions of others to define us.
And that leads us to hate ourselves.

But Jesus told us to love others, but at the same time, He did not ask us to neglect ourselves.
We should learn to be a friend to ourselves. And we can do that by knowing who we are first.
You are special. God’s image is imprinted on you.
You are worthy. Jesus came and died for you to save you from destruction.
You are loved. God has loved you even in your darkest time.
Once we see our value, we will learn to treasure and love ourselves more. Thereby, we get to love others, too, fulfilling one of God’s greatest commands. Shalom!
