Today’s Verse:

When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” John 2:3-5

Today’s Message:

The wedding at Cana was Jesus’ first miracle. But, it did not come from His own will. Mary initiated it. We would not have heard how the water was turned into wine if not for Mary.

But how did this turn out? Well, Mary believed in Jesus’ nature.

When the wine was running out at the wedding, Mary knew how to turn things around because Jesus was near. She did not know how but she trusted in Jesus and His power to do the impossible.

So, even though Jesus refused her request initially, she knew that Jesus would not deny Himself – the miracle-working God.

So, today, approach Jesus with confidence like Mary. Whatever our situation is today, believe that there is a solution because Jesus is near. And He is still the miracle-working God today. Shalom!
