Today’s Verse:
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Matthew 6:37-38
Today’s Message:
People are so quick to judge. They easily find the wrong than the right.
For example, observe the numbers below:
1. 2 + 2 = 4
2. 6 + 6 = 12
3. 4 + 4 = 9
4. 1 + 1 = 2

Among the given examples, which of these stand out to you?
Isn’t the equation number three, where 4 + 4 = 9? Because it is wrong. But, we can simply overlook the right ones.
In the same way, we can look at others and pinpoint their flaws that quickly. We don’t feel the need to highlight the right ones. Instead, we scrutinize their mistakes and condemn them.
But, as followers of Jesus, we are called not to judge but to forgive. We don’t condemn because Jesus did not even condemn us for our sins. Instead, He saved us from it.
We are to find the gold among the dirt and appreciate beauty and honor. We are to love just as He loves us first.
