Today’s Verse:

“Though the fig tree does not bud
    and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
    and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
    and no cattle in the stalls,
 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
    I will be joyful in God my Savior.” Habakkuk 3:17-18

Today’s Message:

Habakkuk’s message was clear: God is always good! Despite whatever season, in drought or in abundance, His nature will never change. Our celebration of who God is should never depend on our situation.

Learning to rejoice in God in season or out season requires full trust in Him. It takes time and devotion. It takes hours of spending in His presence and meditating on His word. In short, spiritual maturity.

But when we get to know more of God, we find that His goodness, glory, and love are worth celebrating regardless of our circumstances. He is worthy and always good!
