“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
God knows exactly what He is doing. We may not understand it now, but when we look back, we will see how He perfectly orchestrates every situation for the right purpose and right time.
We can never fathom the depths of God’s wisdom. At the same time, we cannot fully comprehend His ways. For example, why did Jesus have to be born in a manger and not come down with armies of angels so that all of Israel may believe? Why did He have to pick the uneducated twelve rather than His other wealthy and influential disciples? Why did He use mud and saliva to heal the blind man when He can command healing?
We can consider His ways as “out of this world” because, indeed, He is not from this world. And we are raised learning solutions and principles provided by the world, but we have to remember that God’s ways are unpredictable yet knowable.
So, trust in the One who holds the world. You may not understand your situation at the moment, but God knows best. And in His sovereign plan, you are safe in His arms.
