Today’s Verse:

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Today’s Message:

Today, God wants you to know that having a heart of thanksgiving attracts miracles in your life.

Jesus is our ultimate example of how we walk as children of God. In Matthew 15:32-38, Jesus had compassion on the crowds of people who followed Him wherever He went.

So, He commanded his disciples to go and feed them. But, the loaves which they have were not enough for thousands of men. But, for Jesus, it was more than enough.

Matthew 15:36-37 says, “He took the seven loaves and fish, and gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to the disciples. And the disciples gave them to the crowds. They all ate and were satisfied. They collected the leftover pieces – seven large baskets full.” 

Before distributing the loaves to the crowd, Jesus prayed for them. But instead of reciting lengthy narrations of blessing, Jesus gave thanks. He did not ask for more. He thanked for what is available and believed that God will meet the need like He always does.

In the same way, instead of always asking for what is lacking, let us look for what is already available and thank God for it. He never failed in providing for us, and He never will. Today, let us thank God for what we have now and thank Him already for what He will do to meet us accordingly.
