Verse of the Day:
Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
John 15:15-16 “No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to you.”
A friend accepts you as you are. A friend likes to spend time with you. Being a friend of God implies faith in God and intimacy with God that is available even today to you and me through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. To become a friend of Jesus starts with a love for God through Christ Jesus. Only love can produce love in return. God bless and do tell the Lord thank you for He has promoted us from the status of “slaves” to “friends” by faith through His Son Christ Jesus. He calls you His friend.
