God’s Word For You Today: Only Jesus

Today’s Verse:

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

Today’s Message:

Only Jesus can cleanse us and purify us from all our unrighteousness. The blood that He shed was perfect to rid of all our iniquities and impurities. We are saved by nothing and no one but Jesus alone.

We may sometimes get too proud of our own efforts and self-righteousness.  Our achievements in the ministry or even helping those in need may tempt us to step on the platform.

But, compared to the finished work of the Cross, all of these are “filthy rags,” as Isaiah 64:6 said.

Praise be to Jesus, who has made our sins like scarlet turn white as snow. Faith in Him alone can make us holy and acceptable before the Presence of our Almighty God.
