Today’s Verse:

“Others tested him by asking for a sign from heaven. Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them: “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.” Luke 11:16-17

Today’s Message:

We see Jesus speaks mostly to people with compassion. But, to those with proud and arrogant hearts, He would confront them sharply.

1 Peter 5:5 says, “God opposes the proud, but shows favor to the humble.”

We must be aware of the state of our hearts when we come to God. God accepts those who come to Him with humble and contrite hearts rather than those with “know-it-all” attitudes.

Surrender and lay down before the Lord. You will see that it is easier to come to God in humility than to pretend you have it all under control. Shalom!
