“And those who know your name put
their trust in you,
for you, O LORD, have not forsaken
those who seek you.” Psalm 9:10
The Bible is full of verses that encourages its readers to trust in the Lord. And it has evidences why we have to.
For one, God is trustworthy. “He is not a man that He should lie,” Numbers 23:19 says. What He say, He will do. He does not let His word fall to the ground, but surely, His word will come to pass.
Second, God loves us. His love for us is everlasting and unconditional. He does not base His love in our actions or who we are, but according to His heart. What comfort it is to know that God loves us regardless we have done Him wrong or not. So that, through Jesus, we can partake the blessings of His love.
Today, trust God. Allow His love to secure you and erase all your worries. He only has good things in store for you.
