Today’s Verse:

 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” John 15:1-2

Today’s Message:

God loves our hunger and desire for Him. He delights over our longing for His Presence.

But, there is also a process that one should go through if he or she wants more.

Just like what Jesus said, God cuts off to discipline and He still cuts off to bless. And when we want more of God, there should be less of us.

He cuts off anything in us that will hinder our growth in God. He removes and purifies so that we will reflect Him clearly.

The “cutting” will hurt, yes, but it is worth it. Nothing can compare to the joy we experience in God’s presence. David’s words ring true. “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere.” Psalm 84:10
