Today’s Verse:

“Woe to you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside, you appear to people as righteous, but on the inside, you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.” Matthew 23:27-28

Today’s Message:

The whole chapter of Matthew 23 showed how Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for their hypocrisy and unrighteousness. He told them repeatedly how God would look at the intention, motivation, and heart behind every action rather than the work itself.

Because the Lord does not look at the surface, he sees what people can’t see.

It’s not about how much you’ve given in your offerings or how involved you are in your service to the ministry. But, it’s about your sincerity and love for God and His people.

So, let’s not be like the Pharisees. Let us live with God as our only audience. Shalom!
