Today’s Verse:
“So, Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife.. The women said to Naomi: ‘Praise be to the LORD, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel!” (Ruth 4:13..14)
Today’s Message:
Ruth might have thought that she got a bad destiny. The death in the family she married into started from her father-in-law, then to her brother-in-law and his husband. She was a foreigner. Everything was alien to her. And despite the difficulties she may face because they were left widows, together with her mother-in-law, she did not falter.
She boldly declared to Naomi, “Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God.” (Ruth 1:16) But, her declaration was from her faith and knowledge of who God is. And in believing God, she modeled faithfulness that was rewarded in the end.

When tragedy and problems pile up, we tend to forget who God is. We lose sight of the vision He set out for us, and we lose grip of the promises He proclaimed. But, let us be like Ruth – refusing to buckle because she believed that God is not yet done. He can do so much with our single day. So, let us not give in to the temptation of quitting. Because Jesus is not yet done with your story. See how He will unfold His promises in your life.
