A group of Christians experienced heaven while they are praying for the resurrection of their dear friend.

Praying for resurrection

Hayley Braun testifies to how they experienced heaven on earth while they are praying for life for a friend who just died. She was afraid and unsure of what the outcome of their contending would be but they still said yes to believe in faith. Upon entering the room where their friend’s body was, they immediately knew heaven was there.

“The minute I walked into the situation, heaven was there. Heaven was in the room… Because God meets us in faith,” she said in a video interview with Supernatural Stories.

While praying and contending for life, Hayley got caught up in heaven, she experienced heaven at that moment.

“I began to see the sights of heaven and it was beautiful. It was so full of peace, so full of joy. Right there in the midst of our contending on earth, heaven was contending with us,” she recalled.

Experienced heaven

She saw a great cloud of witnesses also contending for them on that day. She saw those people who had gone before us roaring praises unto God. It was not a roar of grief and sadness, but a roar of rejoicing and victory. Hayley used to be afraid of death, but that encounter changed her perspective.

“When I experienced life in heaven when I experience this great cloud of witnesses pursuing the fullness of the reward of Jesus, I began to realize, there is no losing here. There is no defeat, there is no loss.”

Though they haven’t seen their friend resurrected back into life, they knew that Jesus is still victorious at that moment.

“Jesus was receiving His reward through an act of faith that day. Jesus was reminding us that Heaven is closer than we think. Heaven is right here in your midst. And when you open up the gate of faith, when you choose to step into impossible circumstances, [Jesus] will meet you there.”
