The spontaneous worship event that turned into a 12 day revival on the Asbury college campus has sparked much of it’s recognition from TikTok and other social media platforms.
As more videos were posted online, viewers grew hunger to encounter God in the way they were watching. One woman shared that she drove 16 hours through the night to stay and worship for 8 hours. “Revival is here and God is on the move” she wrote in her caption.
Spontaneous worship event spread through social media
Many of the top videos under the hashtag #AsburyRevival document holy moments of worship. Others show the room completely packed with people filling the altar with repented hearts. One video shared by worshiptoday shows a crowded room singing in unison the song ‘Worthy is the Lamb’. The video has over 1.3 million views and 200,000 likes.

Singer and songwriter Kari Jobe shared her experience in a TikTok caption February 17th:
“Standing in that room last night I felt like what it may have felt like in days of old. It was pure. It was humble. It was reverent. It was expectant. It was hungry. It was desperate. I’m forever impacted. It’s all about Jesus. Spirit of God- move across the earth with revival. I think purity is where is starts, hunger is where it grows, and longing is how it stays.”
Continue to pray that more young believers in the United States will turn their hearts toward the Lord in confession and repentance. Pray for hunger to break out across our nation and believers to be baptized with fire! Finally, pray that God’s move on the earth today will reach more and more viewers on TikTok and across the world!
