We all need hope to help us get through every day. So much bad news is easily available that hope can be difficult to find sometimes.
When you know you need some hope to help you, then…
Hope in the Lord
In Isa 40:31 we can find an answer to the problem of hopelessness.
It says – “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
The source of hope is Jesus and…
He will renew your strength
All too often we try to ‘make’ ourselves do what needs to be done. You know what I mean. We say to ourselves, “just pull up your bootstraps and get on with it”.
Or we look at ourselves in the mirror and ‘give ourselves a talking to’ so that we’ll be motivated.
And then oftentimes we will work long, long hours away from our family and burn ourselves out. We do all of this in an effort to reach the dreams that are in our hearts. But sadly, when we try to do everything in our own strength, we often fall short.
You will soar
But here’s the good news. When you place your hope firmly on Jesus, you can soar as if you’re on wings of eagles. Know how to catch the wind of the Holy Spirit and climb to new and exciting heights with Him.
Jesus wants to give you this hope today. Let hope give you strength.
