I want to share a verse with you out of Hebrews and talk about faith for a minute. I want to read this verse. It’s probably familiar to some of you. It’s Hebrews 11:6, and this is in the NIV. It says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

I want to talk about that first part. It’s impossible to please God without faith. And you know, we want to please God as believers, we want to love Him, we want to honor Him, we want to share Him with others. And sometimes it’s like, you know, we want to please God, and I just want to encourage you with this: Without faith, it’s impossible to please God. But you know how much faith you need? You need the faith of a mustard seed.

And you know, the litmus test for me is the thief on the cross. You know, he’s hanging there with Jesus. He’s a thief. They’ve both been condemned. And the one thief says, “Can I be with you in Paradise?” And Jesus said, “Yes.”  And that was his mustard seed of faith. His whole life, he was condemned to die the same, like right next to Jesus, and his mustard seed, last minute faith was, “Can I be with you?” And Jesus said, “Yes, you’ll be with me in Paradise.”

And so if you even, you know, I know so many testimonies of people, at least three or four off the top of my head, where they’re at the end of their rope, addicted to drugs. I just heard one today, an hour ago, of some guy that was addicted to drugs and Jesus delivered him and his prayer was, “God, if you’re real, you need to show up.” That was his mustard seed of faith. And so I want to encourage you today that you are pleasing God, that somebody that doesn’t even know Him, that’s addicted to drugs is doing all this crazy stuff that’s not like sinful things, like they’re half hearted. Like, “God, if you’re real show up is,” enough faith.

And so if you’re praying anything more than that, you have enough faith to please God. And so be encouraged that the Father is pleased with you. And I just release over to you right now, a revelation that Father God is pleased with you. He sees you, He knows you, He loves you, and He is pleased. Amen.
