A man who claimed to be gay asked CBN’s Pat Robertson a question about pornography and salvation. Pat’s answer was on point!

Charles sent this question: “I was watching The 700 Club and you were talking about porn. Pat said it’s better to get married than to burn in lust. The question was, ‘If I’m watching porn am I going to lose my salvation?’ He didn’t really answer the question – just said get over your addiction. Sounds easy enough, but I’ve had other addictions, and it’s not as easy as Pat says it is. Also, I am 51 and single. I am also gay. I know there’s a big issue with that too. I watch porn instead of going and finding sex. My main question is, am I going to lose my salvation? It seems the Bible says ‘yes’. What is true?”

Sex alone is not evil, the Bible even emphasises that God designed sex to be wonderfully enjoyed between one woman and one man in a life-long commitment of marriage. However, sex outside the design of God is a sin, and it brings so much trouble in our lives including guilt, pain, and broken hearts.

It’s also true, however, that marriage is not for everyone and not every marriage is healthy sexually. What can a Christian do in those circumstances?

If you are struggling with pornography, you have to listen to Pat Robertson’s answers to this man’s question.

Consuming pornographic materials is considered to be adultery. It is clearly stated in the Bible that adulterers will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

The Battle Is Won!

By the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, you can break free from pornographic bondage in your life by setting your focus on Jesus. He has already won the victory for you! You are victorious in this battle!

“For the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.” (Deuteronomy 20:4)
