“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” (Ephesians 6:10) No matter what is going on around and within you, you are strong. For greater is He that is in you (believers), than he that is in the world (see 1 John 4:4). We are reborn in Christ as victors and not as victims, and as such, we are born to conquer, and not just to survive but to triumph on every side because we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus, we are strong, and nothing can separate us from the love of God (see Romans 8:35-39)
We are called to walk and live by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7, Hebrews 10:38, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11). What makes God reject and replace Saul was the fact that Saul decided against the Lord’s instruction. He did this based on what he could see and not by faith in God. The fear of what Saul could see (1 Samuel 13:11-14) made him disobey God. The God that made him a king over His people. Indeed, the fear of man brings a snare, but whosoever put his trust in the Lord shall be saved, see Proverbs 29:25.
Strong: Be Patient And Wait A Little Longer
Samuel had earlier told Saul to wait seven days for him at Gilgal. That he was coming to offer the burnt offerings and a peace offering to the Lord (see 1 Samuel 10:8). Note, Samuel did not tell Saul to carry out the Lord’s offerings because it is not his job. He is not called to be Priest. If only Saul could wait for just a little more, he would not have committed the error against the Lord. It cost him not just the kingdom, but his relationship with the Lord, see 1 Samuel 13:8-10.

The fact that the Philistines gathered against Israel and the people left Saul filled him with fear. That fear prompted Saul to make a wrong decision. Unfortunately, it cost him his life. Therefore, Fear is a reaction, and faith is a decision. What is your choice?
The Lord is saying to you right now to be a little more patient. Especially in areas where you encounter challenges. Additionally, in areas, you have been denied. Therefore, you do not disobey God. Nor miss out on God’s promises. (see Hebrews 10:35-36). Lamentations 3:25-26 says, “The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.”
God, Himself is patient with us (see 2 Peter 3:9). And He created us in His image and after His likeness. So, we can have His nature (see Genesis 1:26). Patience is part of the fruit of the Spirit of God (see Galatians 5:22-23) that lives inside of us, the believers.
The Grace Of God Is Sufficient
We are to focus on the unseen things. Which are eternal and not what we can see. Which are temporal (see 2 Corinthians 4:18). When you focus on the seen things, it will first bring you torment. And deny you of your patience. Finally, it prompts you to make a decision contrary to the will of God. Then what you fear might come upon you (see Job 3:25)
No matter what you are confronted with at the moment, they are all temporary. Remember, the grace of the Lord is sufficient for us. And His strength is made perfect in weakness (see 2 Corinthians 12:9).
“Therefore and finally, my brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord. And in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)
