“Fear not” is one of the most repeated commands in the Bible. “Do not be afraid” appears eighty-one times in the NIV. It’s something God, Jesus, and even angels mentioned a lot! Joyce Meyer’s latest message challenges believers to “Do It Afraid”.
Do what afraid?
The simple answer – anything! Joyce opens her message with this statement, “You can face anything if you’ll just do it afraid”. What do you think? Can you actually do anything if you just do it afraid? In Joshua 1:9 God commands Joshua, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
God promised to be with Joshua wherever went. He has made that same promise to you and I! God will be with you in that conversation you have been putting off with your boss. He will be with you in the decision you need to make. God is with you as you parent your children through the different stages of life. He is with us! As Joyce shares, “do it afraid”.

We are partners with God
Romans 8:17 – “Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co–heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory”
We are co-heirs with Christ! Jesus’ death on the cross purchased our reconciliation to the Father. In her message Joyce Meyer says it this way, “We are partners with God. We have a part and He has a part”. Often times, as Christians we stop at the foot of the cross where we find salvation. It’s time to live on the other side of the cross! It’s time to live on side of the cross where the resurrection power is…even if we do it afraid. We are co-heirs with Christ!
