Lean into the heart of God

The founder of The Answer Church encourages everyone to run alongside God. In order to do so, we must first lean into His heart to know His heart. Theo started his message by emphasizing how we needed God even right after we are born.

We need to receive from Him. We need to be fed by Him and we need to be protected by Him. Even as we grow older, we still need the care and love of the Father.

“In order for us to grow He has to feed us; we just receive. In order for us to be protected, it’s all dependent upon Him protecting us. And He wraps us and He cuddles us and He embraces us. And then He begins to look at us and He begins to speak life over us and He says, ‘I love you.’”

Know His heart

We learned how to love because He first loves us. All the things and attributes we have right now came from the Father.

“Anything we give to God, God has first given to us. If you’re going to love God the way He wants to be loved, you first have to receive His love for you.”

For us to be continually filled by His fullness, we must lean into His heart. Knowing the Father’s heart is the key to running with Him in this journey. When we learn the rhythm of His heart, it is easier for us to move according to His plans.

“God is aligning a generation that will lay down their lives and lean into the heart of God. And as they lean into Him, they can pick up the rhythm of His heart. It’s really important to understand what Jesus is doing in the earth and you simply run alongside Him in those moments.”
