Hi, I would like to encourage you with my favorite scripture of all time. This was actually given to me by my grandmother who gave me my first Bible; Proverbs 4:18. I want to read it to you, so there is no paraphrasing here. “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” You know, the thing about this verse, is life is not a given, clear picture, all at once situation. We all have a process to live. We all have a journey to take, and I am the type of person who is quite impatient. You know, confessing here to you, I just really don’t like waiting. And when I know that I need patience and I say, “God, I need patience right now,” but God doesn’t give it to me. He gives me a process instead, because the Word says my path as a righteous person is a journey, like the shining sun that comes layer by layer, minute after minute; it becomes ever so brighter.

The thing about light that makes me very introspective, regarding life, is the fact that it reveals pieces that you didn’t know. And then after you know that part, another body of knowledge comes about, and another one comes about, and we just have to live it as a process. There is no microwave. There is no instant fixing. And I encourage you today to just lean on the Lord and embrace the process.

Final thought about this is, Jesus Himself said, “Do not worry about tomorrow, because sufficient is today’s own evil.” And that connects to this scripture because you know, it’s a process. When we get to that point and we have a challenge,  we will then deal with that, and then we’ll deal with that, and then we’ll deal with that. Like me, I wanted to just get it all figured out, all troubles and problems, give it all to me at once. But no, it’s a process. I encourage you today to embrace life like that.
