In Colossians 1:27 declares that “Christ in you” is “the hope of glory.” Woah! Wait a minute! You mean the hope of God’s glory being revealed on the earth is “Christ in me”? Exactly!
As believers, Matthew 10:8 commands us to “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” This command became real for Jeremy Matlock one day as he found himself standing over a patient for whom, in medical terms, all hope of life was lost.
Miracles still happen today!
As Jeremy stood over the patient there were no signs of a pulse. The patient had been pumped full of epinephrine and shocked multiple times. The only thing left to do was pray!
Jeremy felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit and began praying under his breath. As he prayed, he began to feel the power of God flowing down his arms and started commanding life into the dead man’s body. All of a sudden a heart beat showed up on the monitor!
Listen to Jeremy share his entire testimony…
You can pray too
The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11)! God wants to perform miracles on the earth in partnership with you! All He needs is a willing vessel like Jeremy. Will you answer God’s call? There is a world out there in need. The hope of glory is Christ in YOU (Colossians 1:27)!
If you or someone you know needs healing in their body pray this prayer…
I command all (insert sickness or injury) to leave in Jesus name. By His stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). I declare full (health, range of motion, function, etc.) over your body right now. Thank you Jesus for touching (name) with Your resurrection power.
Check to see if there are any improvements. Celebrate any improvements and pray again. Remember, God is the one who heals and we just need to come into agreement with Heaven!
Jeremy said it best, “Wow, God can use anybody!”
