What is the meaning of worship for Generation Z?
Worship
Allie Mendoza and Augustine Mendoza, directors of Spiritual Formation, talked with some young people about worship. They asked these young people what does worship mean to them. Their answer just shows that Generation Z is a generation of worshippers.
“Yes, we have like worship services, worship songs, we’re like singing about Jesus and those are beautiful worship moments. But I think a life that is surrendered to Christ that reflects who He is… Giving Him time, like spending time in prayer or in the Word,” one young man answered.

Generation Z
This generation wants to see revival happen and they will continue to pursue it until they see it.
“I think our generation is so hungry and desperate for a revival that like in every little pocket, or in every little service, it almost feels like a revival sometimes. And I really believe the person who’s in charge in leading worship plays a very big part in worship goes.”
Augustine then shared a message with them about distraction and how can they turn their passion to worship.
“A big thing that generation Z has is a distraction like you can see anything and everything and you can be on your phone all day every day and not see everything. How much more of a blessing is it when you block all that out and you say, ‘Jesus, right now, for these 30 minutes, for this hour, however long, it’s just You and me.’ I think that’s a big benefit, a blessing, and opportunity that Generation Z has,” Augustine explained.
