Life can feel hard. but we can use encouragement to combat the difficulties that come our way. Testimonies are a powerful source of hope.

Kingdom Encouragement

To ignore the difficulties that many face in life would be naive. It’s a reality that many situations and circumstance are not easy to walk, but we have a choice. We can seek encouragement from the world or from Heaven.

Worldly encouragement can have the right words with the right sentiment, but they don’t have the POWER that encouragement from Heaven carries. Testimonies are our Heavenly source of encouragement. They speak of what God has done or is doing. It’s not a flash in the pan, it’s evidence of what is possible.

For example, if you were battling cancer there is power in hearing the testimony of someone with cancer who received prayer and was healed. The testimony brings encouragement and hope for better days. Testimonies carry power!

Promises From The Word

Revelation 12:11 and Revelation 19:10 both offer revelation about just how powerful our testimonies are.

Revelation 12:11 – “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

Revelations 19:10 – And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Looking at these promises, we see that testimonies release overcoming and they prophesy. Isn’t that amazing?! Simply sharing a testimony of what Jesus has done in your life literally releases overcoming and the prophetic into the lives of those listening.
