Following the halting of nonstop worship at Asbury, new revival reports continue. A recent report reveals many students were baptized at Purdue University. An evangelist remarked, “God is moving, it’s just starting.”
Revival Continues
God’s outpouring at Asbury didn’t remain in the four walls of the chapel as it spread across the United States and the world. Although some Christians criticized Asbury’s decision to halt the nonstop worship and whether the revival would continue, testimonies from different places attest that it hasn’t stopped. Instead, the Asbury Outpouring paved the way for many universities across the nation to turn their hearts toward God.

Purdue University
In a recent testimony, many students at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, responded to God’s call for this generation. According to CBN News, at Purdue, “300 students came to watch the Collegiate Day of Prayer simulcast from Asbury in Wilmore, Kentucky.”

Then in a Twitter post by Dr. Malachi O’Brien, he shared the revival that happened at the University. Apparently, the students “brought a swimming pool because they were going to have 3 baptisms” in the service. But instead of three, 20 students got baptized.
The photo revealed a girl soaked in the water for baptism as the crowd cheered and applauded her decision to follow Christ.

Evangelist Nick Hall
In an interview with Charisma News, evangelist Nick Hall stressed that the revival has continued. He was one of the many believers who experienced the Asbury Outpouring. After he left, he knew he had a mission to bring it home.
“God is moving. It’s not over. It’s just starting,” he said. “I only left Asbury because I felt like I had to bring it home.”
As a result, Nick and his ministry changed their plans “for an event in downtown Minneapolis.”

“More than 600 people showed up at the impromptu worship service that ran 53 hours,” he recounted. “And was filled with repentance, healing, literal addictions being broken, marriages being healed. I’m just seeing this breakout everywhere.”
“You can’t end revival, revival isn’t owned by anyone, and it didn’t start by anyone. It’s a move of God, and if anything, on Thursday night, there was a release of what God had started and it had already spread.”
Furthermore, the evangelist is encouraging Christians to watch “Jesus Revolution.” He believes God is using the film and is playing a significant role in the revival.
“God is at work,” he remarked. “And when God is at work, you just have to stay attuned, and in tune with the Spirit. And just keep your sails up to say, ‘God, Would you move. Would you have your way. Would you do what only you would do.'”
“I believe this is a revival moment, I believe it’s just starting. I believe we are on the brink of more. And I think everywhere people are hungry, God is willing to move.”
