A patient accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior after his surgeon prayed over him before his surgery.
Surgery
The patient’s surgery was about to get canceled because his blood pressure was too high to give him anesthesia. Instead of giving up, his surgeon prayed for him. What happened next is clearly the Lord’s moving!
“The anesthesiologist comes in the room and says, ‘Mike, we’re not going to be able to do the surgery,’” Dr. Michael Haglund recalled.

Upon asking why the surgery will be canceled, the anesthesiologist told Dr. Haglund that his blood pressure was too high to give him anesthesia.
“Cause his blood pressure is like 220/120. We can’t put someone to sleep with that kind of blood pressure,” the anesthesiologist replied.
Surgeon
Instead of giving up and calling off the surgery, the Christian doctor asked his team to pray for the patient. So they prayed over the patient, and indeed God moved at that moment and the patient’s blood pressure dropped.
“So, I go on, and I pray for him, and he calms down a little bit. It went from 220 down to like 170,” Dr. Haglund said. “We do his surgery, he does great, pain’s gone, gets back to work in two weeks.”
Accepts Jesus
However, after six weeks from the surgery, he met the patient again but this time it’s not about his health, but his spirituality.
“I see him at six weeks, and he comes in. He goes, ‘You know that prayer you prayed for me?’ And I go, ‘Yeah.’ He goes ‘Something changed. Something’s different.’ And so like right there in the clinic we like prayed, and he accepted Christ and, you know, that’s what it’s all about,” Dr. Haglund shared.
Because of the prayer and faith of his surgeon, this patient also turned his life to Christ. It was truly a wonderful day!
