I want you to know that there is a peace that surpasses understanding that’s available for you. In Philippians 4, the Bible tells us to, in prayer and supplication give thanks to God, to be anxious for nothing. And as we do this, that the peace of God that surpasses understanding will guard our hearts and minds. I also want to tie in another reality, that in John 20, when Jesus stepped onto the scene and the disciples were gathered together in fear, because their Lord, their King had just been executed on the cross and they didn’t know what was coming next. But Jesus, in His resurrected form, He walked through the wall, but His greeting to them in their moment of anxiety and fear was, “Peace unto you.” And Jesus wasn’t just saying, “Hey, don’t be afraid guys, I’m not a ghost.” He actually was opening up a realm of peace that surpasses understanding to them.

Another name for Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He is the Prince of a realm called peace, and that what He did, was He opened up this realm that He won the victory for through His death and His resurrection. And He said, guys, I open up this realm, step out of your realm of worry and anxiety, and step into my realm of perfect peace. A peace that surpasses understanding doesn’t just mean that we get alignment in our worries. I get enough order. No, it actually transcends all of that. And it’s peace that comes from heaven that is God’s presence and that changes everything.

There’s a peace that surpasses understanding that is available for you, regardless of whatever situation you feel that you’re hiding in and huddled in. If you have anxiety or fear and don’t know what’s going to happen next, just like the disciples, Jesus is about to walk through the wall of your situation and open up to you the realm of peace that surpasses understanding. All you have to do is take Him by the hand and step in, and that transforming peace will begin to change your reality. I bless you with that in Jesus’ Name.
