A 3-month-old baby girl suffering from a rare heart condition requires a heart transplant. And the parents are asking for prayers and financial assistance.
Baby Girl With Heart Disorder
Baby girl Morgan Logan was born with a heart condition called Dilated Cardiomyopathy. According to Mayo Clinic, such a condition causes the heart to “grow larger” and malfunction. Hence, she needs a heart transplant in order to survive.

Morgan’s parents, Jasmine, a social worker, and Kenneth, a service technician, explained their baby’s illness.

“The disorder is caused by a mutated gene,” the mom said. “Which caused the bottom left ventricle of her heart to be enlarged and not functioning well.”
Waiting For A Heart Donor
Baby Morgan is still currently waiting for a heart donor. She is medically a “top priority,” however, it would still take “three to six months” before she could find a benefactor. Because finding the perfect match for the baby’s heart is complex. Hence, her parents are asking for prayers and financial assistance as the hospital bills keep piling up.

“The heart has to be perfect for her,” Jasmine said. “It has to be the right size and the right blood type.”
But in the meantime, doctors kept the infant stable by taking “immune suppressants.” Although costly for the family, they had to, so she would survive while waiting for a heart donor. And right now, Jasmine says they are in dire need of “prayers and financial support for food, medical bills and transportation.”

With that said, thoughtful friends put up a GoFundMe page for baby Morgan. On the page, they wrote, “Journey to heart transplant for Morgan.” And as of Thursday, they have raised over $9,000 in donations.
Further, a family member, Marcus Sullivan, also initiated a Home Bank fundraiser to help the Logan family.
Let’s pray for baby Morgan’s complete healing. And also, a miracle to immediately find a donor and successfully survive the heart transplant.
