God’s Presence

Growing up, I didn’t always know how to cultivate God’s presence in my life. I reflect back now and wonder how I lived without it. Was it really living? Life is just merely a day-to-day routine with absolutely no purpose to it if God’s Spirit isn’t present. My heart is to share the importance of God’s presence with you and practical ways you’re able to cultivate it in your life.

Healing Presence

First, and foremost, God’s Presence can be experienced differently for everybody. So, it doesn’t have to look a certain way for you to know “you’re doing something right.” I for one believe there are different aspects to God’s nearness. For example, I know God’s Healing Presence in my life more than anything. Due to my previous seasons with Him, I was able to experience this side of God in a very real way. Like I said before, it can look and be different for everybody.

God Goes Deep

In addition, desperation for God can shift atmospheres. Sometimes, you have to become desperate to step into a new realm of God’s presence. One that you were unaware you so desperately needed. Additionally, never become satisfied with having enough of God. There is always more to learn and experience from Him. Depth is an understatement for how deep He wants to take us in His Heart. In His glory, to experience Him truly. God’s presence shifts things. It changes lives. Jesus heals and He always transforms. Without His presence, we could never know Him, let alone ourselves. Who we are as a church transformed by His heart.

In conclusion, when God shows up in a room, it’s impossible for things not to change. Remember, cultivating His heart in your life doesn’t have to look a certain way. But, it does feel a certain way and His Love is always present. Finally, press in and press on, He wants to experience you today. His nearness is a promise.
