Did you know that God has given us every piece of armor and weapon we need to defeat the enemy? It’s at your fingertips. My question to you today is, have you picked it up and put it on yet?

The Armor of God

We find the armor of God in Ephesians 6:10-18 “¹⁰ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹ Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. ¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³ Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵ and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶ In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷ Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.¹⁸ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” 

Put on Each Piece

If you are facing a spiritual battle right now, or just going throw a really difficult time, put on the armor piece by piece. We put on belt of truth and we thwart the lies of the enemy and stand in truth. We put on the the breastplate of righteousness as we are have received God’s forgiveness and are in right standing with Christ. Put on the shoes of peace that wherever you step or whatever situation you find yourself, you can stand in peace. We do not agree with fear or chaos but with the peace of God. We hold the shield of faith and stand firm in who God is. No matter what, God is good and we believe He can do anything! We have the helmet of salvation as we are saved by grace through the blood of Jesus. We wield the sword of the Spirit, the word of God. It is so important that we know the scripture. If you aren’t reading your Bible to know the Word of God, now is a great time to start. And then we pray in the spirit. We can use our prayer language or pray in tongues to see victory and shift atmospheres in our life.

Victory Is Here

God has already given us the victory. Love won! He teaches us how to stand against the enemy and stay in victory through His word.
