Ravi Zacharias and Dr. Vince Vitale recently gave a talk at the University of Florida. During the open forum, they were faced with a challenging question.
Ravi Zacharias is a Canadian-American Christian apologist. Dr. Vince Vitale is a speaker and author. In addition, Vitale serves as RZIM’s (Ravi Zacharias International Ministries) Regional Director for the Americas. He is also the Director of the Zacharias Institute. The duo was asked the question, “If God is just, then why give eternal punishment for temporal sin?” Fortunately, they were able to break down the question with multiple points. These points highlight the stories of Jesus and the specific events of the Bible. With ease, Zacharias and Vitale shared the grace that God gives those who choose Him and also the free-will we have to not choose Jesus.
“If God is just, then why give eternal punishment for temporal sin?” This is a question Christians and unbelievers alike struggle to answer. First and foremost, Zacharias and Vitale seek to bring logical and Biblical answers to the question. Their answer touches on free-will, sin, the Prodigal Son, and hell.

Together Ravi Zacharias and Dr. Vince Vitale are also a part of RZIM’s global team of speakers. They have offices throughout the world specifically: the US, Canada, Spain, Romania, India, the Middle East, Turkey, Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Africa, Peru, and Australia.
Notably, RZIM’s mission is to answer some of the most difficult questions regarding culture and faith. Which is why their slogan is: “Difficult Questions. Thoughtful Answers.” For roughly 30 years, they have visited 43 countries. In their time traveling they have met with leaders, universities, and believers. In addition to the two of them, they have a team of speakers and writers. These individuals diligently study and research Christian thought and reasoning. All components of RZIM bring an amazing element to the ministry of Jesus.
Pray for RZIM
What is more, the questions asked are ones many Christians may not even know how to answer. But, we learn a lot of valuable information from this ministry. Most importantly, how to approach questions that challenge our faith and open, respectful conversations with differing viewpoints.
Finally, Pray that Ravi Zacharias and his entire RZIM team are covered in grace and strength, as they minister throughout the world with courage.
