The waiting season is the most beautiful if you let God lead you and trust in His perfect timing. Because He is always on time, never early, never too late.
A Fast-Paced World
Somehow, the world has created a fast-paced culture where everything seems instant, from fast-food restaurants to instant noodles to the advancing technology crafted to get things done easier and instantly for humans. Perhaps, that is the reason why today’s generation gets easily bored and impatient and deems waiting as hard. And this is where the dilemma surfaces.
God is the Author of time and Maker of all things. When we lose sight of this truth, the waiting gets really hard, especially when we compare our life with others. But if we fix our eyes on the Lord alone and trust His timing, I believe we’ll be able to receive a better result.
Wait On God’s Timing
Waiting is not easy. But if we allow God to lead in our waiting season and see things through His perspective, it would become the most beautiful season of our life. So, renew your mind every day and don’t let the pressures of this life shape you. Instead, be patient and wait on God’s timing. Let Him change your heart and mold your character while waiting for His promise in your life. Who knows, maybe God is just preparing your heart so that you would be ready to receive it.
Perhaps you are praying over something for a long time—career, relationship, personal breakthroughs. Relentless woman, don’t give up. I believe God is working things in your favor, and it’s just a matter of time before He will give it to you. But while you are still right here in the waiting, be present and enjoy this season. Because today is a beautiful gift from God, and this season will never come back. So that someday, when you look back, you would have no regrets.
Waiting on God’s timing is acknowledging by faith that God is holding the timeline of your life, and He is working all things together for your good. Know that those who are rushing things will do no good. Have patience, trust that everything will work out, and you’ll be grateful to God you waited.
“Still I am certain to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the LORD; be strong and courageous. Wait patiently for the LORD!” -Psalm 27:13-14
